Bonfida Exclusive: Edition #7

We’re back with the Monthly Exclusive: Edition #7! We have lots of news to recap with everything that has been happening this month.

A few quick noteworthy mentions include three major Solana Name Service changes, additional $FIDA listings, using your .sol domain name to withdraw from FTX, exciting new partnerships and last but not least the Solana Riptide Hackathon.

Without further ado let’s dig in.

Deposit and Withdraw from FTX using the Solana Name Service

An undoubtedly first mention is the ability to use .sol domain names to withdraw directly from FTX! This partnership portrays the real value of the Solana Name Service and we couldn’t be happier to share the news with you.

For a detailed guide on deposits and withdrawals please refer here:

Solana Name Service Change: Unsolicited Offers and More

Another big one for the Solana Name Service are the added changes to maximize the potential of .sol domain names on Bonfida’s platform.

Along came unsolicited offers, fixed price listings and selecting your favorite domain name. The unsolicited offer function allows users to make offers on domain names not up for auction. Why is this useful you may ask: well, a buyer can now tempt a domain name owner with an attractive bid and owners have the power to realize the demand and value of their domain names.

A fixed price listing is as the name suggests, that is, selling your domain for the price you decide — this, without the labour of an auction time set. Lastly, giving the users the ability to select their favorite domain name, enhances the efficiency for all projects integrating SNS. Now, developers are able to automatically display your favorite domain name as per your choice.

Bonfida sponsors a prize in Solana’s Riptide Hackathon to reward the best integration with the Solana Name Service & Jabber

We are excited to announce that Bonfida will be sponsoring a prize up to 30K for the Solana Riptide Hackathon. Specifically, we are focusing on integrations with the SNS and Jabber, the on-chain messaging app.

Overall, we welcome any developments and we are excited to see what participants are going to do! For efficiency purposes we have summarized some of the most important resources below:

Bonfida’s Quarterly Roadmap

The first quarterly roadmap for 2022 was released. Have a look below to see what we are working on for Q1.

$FIDA’s Listings Grow Exponentially

Last month we humbly bragged with $FIDA being listed on Coinbase, Kraken and FIDA-PERP on AscendEX. These supplement the list of FTX, and Binance. If this tickles your fancy, you’d love to hear that there’s more! February brings along listings on Poloniex, WazirX and FIDA-PERP on — assuring the quality of Bonfida’s token.

#SOLCool campaign hosted by Galaxy Project

The Galaxy Campaign has come to an end and saw almost 5K NFTs distributed to users that participated in Bonfida’s task. 2022 is going to be SOL cool!

Bonfida Isolated Pool on Solend

Solend is the autonomous interest rate machine for lending on Solana, boasting fast speeds and minimal costs.

With this said, you can now find a Bonfida Isolated pool on Solend. The pool has 3 reserves: $FIDA, SOL and USDC which could be lended out for yield or used as collateral to borrow others.

Don’t hesitate and check it out here:

MathWallet supports transfers via subdomain names

MathWallet has completed their integration, which allows users to send and receive tokens using their subdomain name as well. Currently, Sollet & MathWallet support these transactions via subdomain names. More should follow soon!

SonarWatch integrates the solana name service. Look up any sol domain from bonfida directly in the search bar.
As of this month, SonarWatch enables the lookup of any .sol domain name directly in their search bar. No need to worry about copy and pasting addresses anymore, just lookup any .sol domain name of your liking.

Solana Name Service partners with Burnt Finance

Burnt Finance is a fully decentralized auction protocol, which enables anyone to mint a diverse array of synthetics and NFTs while also providing them with an unparalleled auction platform.

The partnership with the Solana Name Service allows creators to verify themselves with Twitter handle registration. Thus, potential buyers can conduct due diligence on promising NFT projects easily.

This partnership offers users an extra layer of security for both buyers and sellers.

With a few clicks, you can verify your Twitter handle here:

Another Secondary Marketplace for the Solana Name Service on Artemis

Artemis, an up-and-coming NFT marketplace, has integrated SNS. This means .sol domain names have another secondary marketplace added to the list with DigitalEyes. This allows you to trade your domain name just like any NFT!

Profile page

Have you noticed our latest touches? Like we said, we are continuously working to improve our user experience. Thank you to all the suggestions from the community that help us build something that suits your needs.

1. See a seller’s profile — domains being auctioned now have a link to the seller’s profile. This enables buyers to see other domains owned by the user and other fixed price listings.

2. Added filters — search for specific domain names with our new added filters. These have been set up to meet your exact needs: from price, domain length, currency and so forth. Keep making you suggestions, we hear you.

Solana Name Service Growth
Without fail, the Solana Name Service has had yet another impressive month in terms of growth. SNS impressively reached 150K domains registered and almost nearing 160K already. Twitter handles continue to grow with over 45K registered.

Monthly Buy & Burn

$FIDA’s buy and burn reaches a new all time high with 120,589 $FIDA burned in February! That’s $191,521 at the current price.

Closing Statement

That’s it for this month. Thought we’d end this newsletter on an extra happy note. Welcome SHAQ.SOL!

See you next month with Edition #8 and more updates.

Until next time, be safe and take care.
